Thanks for your brilliant contribution.

I looked on CL for golf carts yesterday as I have for many years. Time was you could buy old broken down carts for a couple hundred dollars and fix them up for a profit. Today old carts are listed for $1500-3000. Newer carts are $5-8k. I'm shocked. True fixer uppers aka need batteries, tires, seats, etc are 1k
I'm glad my cart flipping days are long over. GL with the venture

Man said he had a "fleet" which I consider to be more than 4. A lot more when it comes to golf course fleets. I also understood he may only be talking about the 4 he has on the trailer.

If he had a true "fleet" (40,50,60?) I was going to perhaps have a business proposition for him.

Thanks for your brilliant contribution.
Wow, I don't think that was called for.

You should see what they get for bone stock 20 year old carts down here, and don't even get me started on what they call a "fixer upoer".
They've lost their minds.

Just to follow up on this, I ended up doing very well on this first batch of carts, I netted $2,800 after they all 4 sold. Since then I’ve probably flipped 20 carts, I have 10 in the driveway right now and am still having fun doing it.

Here’s what I have:

2011 Zone 6-seater - runs great looks almost new, selling soon

My original 1992 EZGO GTX-804 - Motor just gave out but I’m putting in a rebuilt one shortly

80’s EZGO PC4X lifted - keeping as a second personal cart, I’m re-cabling it and putting in new resistor coils

Two 2007 Club Car Ds 4 seaters 48v - One drives great, the other I’m troubleshooting a wiring harness short

90’s Yamaha G2 - Drives great, adding a utility bed, all new seat vinyl

1989 Club Car DS - Runs great but am replacing rear outer bearings

1998 Club Car DS - Runs great, needs repair on hill brake catch.

2002 EZGO ST 350 - Needs new carb, runs ok, adding a utility bed

1960’s Taylor Dunn Tee-Bird Eagle III - runs great, adding onboard charger and backseat. Giving this one to my sister.

It’s a blast being able to bring these back to life and play with them before I sell them.
