Why not get an alltrax SR48500 or 48400? It’s cheaper and gives you flexibility to tune/adjust it however you want.

Yes, but I would get it from here as he will program it and set it up for your cart before he ships it to you. David is a great guy and super super helpful. It’s worth an extra 10 bucks for the customer service provided by him (and he is also an active member here and site sponsor) rather than trying to deal with an unknown on eBay if issues or questions should arise.

Thank you for the advice will def use him if I decide to go with one.
Question : what is installation like? I like the thought of just hooking up the buss wires, 3 little wires and 4 nuts attaching to the body to start driving down the road if I go with a rebuilt stock controller.

how big is the process to switch to this alltrax?

It’s just as easy as hooking up any other controller. A few big wires, a few little wires and you’re done. It’s no more difficult, the wires just might be arranged on the controller itself differently. Best part of working with David is he is as knowledgeable as he is helpful and easy to deal with. Any questions while you’re installing it, you’ll get support like you never would from eBay.

But really, it’s pretty straightforward. If you can replace it with another Curtis you can install an alltrax. The benefit of an alltrax though is you can plug in a USB and laptop and program it to work however you want.
