Default Play in Lower arm to shock connection - Wrong shocks?

Hi all,
New G22 owner. Replaced shocks all the way around with Rhox. I have play where shock connects to lower arm. Assuming there should not be. Collar, Soild Bushings and Covers measure 2 1/4" when assembled. Opening where shock attached measures 2 3/8" and there is play when totally assembled and torqued. I did not get new bushings, collar or covers as they all looked good.

Question is, do I need to order new bushings, collar and covers or is the shock opening out of tolerance? I did not keep the old shocks to measure.

Picture of parts.

Just measured an O.E.M replacement shock off my shelf and it opening measures exactly 2 3/8" ... not sure of your problem but there's conformation on that at least...

Camero, you see any harm of puting a washer in as a spacer until I get parts in? Between cap and shock?
