Default 2008 EZGO txt 36v Trying get up to 30 mph ?

Helping a buddy out

Specs: 2008 EZGO txt 36v new batteries
14" rims and 23" tires
6" lift

stock speed 18 19 mph

then added new controller A Navitas 600amp controller
dialed in all my settings and now getting 24-25 mph

stock motor

Trying to get to 30 mph what would be my next steps and what companies are out there to 1. rebuild motor for speed or 2. just buy a new motor
built for speed ? willing to lose torque

I would talk with Navitas about configuration. With 23” tires it should be close to 30 now.

If the cart is a 2008 PDS, then it ought to be doing close to 30MPH with 23" tires and the rev limit set to 5600RPM or more, so something is holding it back.

If the tires are the low pressure type (<10PSI max inflation pressure), that is the reason.

The max RPM for a stock PDS motor fed by a 36V battery pack is roughly 5600, which is 30.8MPH on 23" tires. Of course, it won't quite reach that speed because the 23" tire height also cost you about 22% of the available torque where rubber meets road.

Do you have upgraded access on the app so that you can see the Engineering Tabs? If so what is your "Forward Field Current Min"?
