2017 EZ GO RXV Stops on Start Suddenly

That sounds like the solenoid has failed.

I swapped out the solenoid. Unfortunately same issue. Same voltage checks and same readings on the new solenoid as well....

Maybe battery shopping tomorrow!

Well another disappointing update. I swapped out the old batteries and installed brand new US Battery set to the tune of $700. Also new 2 ga cable set. Exact same problem! On any pedal press it still slowly lurches either direction for a second or two and stops.

Guess I'm down to the motor and controller now?

The way it's sitting right now sounds like the speed sensor.

So I did some googling and looked at troubleshooting the speed sensor before I go ahead and Jack it up and remove a wheel. I attempted to do the “rollback” test and I can’t move it when it’s in Run and F. I read if the speed sensor is bad then I should be able to roll it and hear beeps. The cart wheels are definitely locked and I can’t budge it.

Thanks for the pic - and your continuing assistance. Per those instruction on step 2, I’m getting a constant 4.6v as it spins.

No luck on the Speed Sensor replacement. Cart still presenting same issues of slowly, and I mean slowly, going on pedal press and stopping and brake locking. Only way to get any movement again is to completely turn off, remove and reinsert key.

I think I'm ready to throw in the towel and find a local cart mechanic.

You need to get a Curtis handheld or programming station to find your problem. Throwing parts at this is costing you a lot of money. Turning the off and on is just rebooting up the controller.

Agreed. I got someone coming tomorrow to grab it and figure it out. I'll follow back up when we find out what is actually wrong.

Bright side - I've learned a ton about my cart. Mostly about the PIA bolt and screw access to various things... and it's actually a 2014 cart Guy I bought it from was wrong either on purpose or just unaware when he bought it from a course. It had the original US Battery pack in it the entire time and I put almost 2 years on it myself.
