Default Ezgo rear seat repair.

Hi all, I recently stripped down my 2010 rxv to install lithium and check everything is ok. The install went well and all good on that side runs chargers etc.
On reattaching the rear seat I over tightened a bolt which in turn made the nut on the seat come loose and just spin. I might add that two (one on each side) were already broke with the same issue when I purchased it.
Now all the videos, repair threads I’ve come across say that the black plastic can be removed by taking out the 4 screws, on my seat where the screws should be is just blank plastic. Are their studs their that you just pull and the plastic will pop off or is their something else I need to be aware of, I don’t want to damage it even more as it should be an easy repair.
Thanks.

So this is the issue I’m having. The red outlined is broken, bolts have pushed through or broken the wood I can’t figure that out until I’ve got inside the seat.
The black outline showing the screws is what my seat doesn’t have, it’s jus plane moulded plastic and I don’t want to be pulling at it incase I do more damage. Does anyone know how to get the plastic off when their are no screw?

I've had this plastic part off several times.. If there are no screws on yours, it should come off by pulling?

I'm just working on my 4-seater RXV with two seat backs, all plastic covers are mounted with ( torx) screws. So yours seems to be unique

Thanks I’m thinking as much I’ll get a picture of the rear seat tommorw when I’m next near my cart. Every other seat I’ve seen has screws in.

You are gonna have to get really creative to fix the rusted out T nut situation.
Typically the wood is degraded so a replacement nut won't hold - in which case it is time to just bite the bullet and buy a new seat back.

I’ve seen some horrible wood on YouTube when searching how to get my plastic off, and that at the moment that isnt the issue, most seats I can find come without the moulded plastic so I need to remove that in one piece first
Anyway here’s the back of my seat where the screws should be. As you can see it’s just plastic
