New Rxv Motor Brake Won’t Unlock

I will make a guess that the brake wasn't what failed, but some other fault sent the car into 'throw owner through windshield' mode aka lockup. ANY fault, and I do mean ANY, especially on a Curtis model (they have a full textbook of errors vs. the handful a Danaher does) will just automatically lock the car up. The RXV is a liability waiting to happen. EZGO thought it was a genius idea to engineer a golf car without even a limp home mode. ANY fault, no matter how minor or major, stops the car. Doesn't matter if it's on the golf course or in the middle of the street.

In TOW mode, it doesn't matter if the brake is on or off the motor, it should unlock barring no other faults present. Any fault re-locks the brake and sets the code (need a handheld to see it, and on newer ones they often lie, such as a bad motor speed sensor showing up as 'throttle wiper' error). I've used TOW and N mode to unlock brakes to make it easier to re-install them because many are not aligned correctly out of the box and won't bolt on without unlocking them first.

TOW and N also enables pushing the car if it's too low on volts to drive, but often you have to reverse the two red connectors under the solenoid cover to unlock the brake in that instance.

Update: Solenoid was fried. Oem replacement fixed the issue
