20 inch tires on a G1
Hi all. Very soon I will be installing an all sports 4 inch lift and 20x10x8 inch tires on my 83 g1. My cart is all stock. Am I going to have any problems pulling hills with these bigger tires? Will I have enough power?

Re: 20 inch tires on a G1
I have an 81 with the same lift- The 20's should fit fine as I was able to install 22's with only slight modification to bumper and side rail.

Re: 20 inch tires on a G1
It depends, a good running G1 will spin the stock tires up a grass hill that is steep enough so with a lift it should do pretty well. On the other hand its a golfcart not an ATV, it has ~9hp, and if the belt is not newer and clutches working right it will have a harder time. Usually if you can walk up it easily the cart will go up it. They crawl up steep hills.

If your cart is running decent you will have no problems with that lift/ tire combo........except then you will want to go even bigger.......
