JM: I just ordered and received my Disc brakes. I'm replacing the rear drums with disc. I'll let you know how it works out for me when I get my Cart back together. My thinking is if I need more stopping power I will add the front disc.

I've done multiple systems using the Jakes kits and been happy with the results EVERY TIME. That being said, Scotty, I need to hook up with you for a set of those 4 wheen Disc brakes one of these days AFTER I have gotten this Christmas issue out of the way.

I'll send some photos when I get them installed. Today I have the rear axle housing torn down installing new bearings and seals and PosiTrac unit.

With the help of Scottyb (Carts Unlimited) I have a set of hydraulic disc brakes that are waiting to be installed on my workhorse. I am a novice when it comes to anything mechanical and consider myself marginally capable Scotty was able to get me a 2 wheel (rear only) set because I may do something different with the front of my cart that would prohibit having any brakes on there.

I will be installing these and publishing a complete review of the instalation and performance via the IGKRA's quarterly news letter due out about mid-1st quarter 2011.

I can say that intially, I'm extremely impressed by the quality of the components.
