Re: Building a new battery rack.
The local EZ GO dealer had it in stock. It was about 45 bucks but it should keep the new rack in good shape.

Re: Building a new battery rack.
I don't know about that. It came from the dealer but on the reciept it's listed as "Txt frame saver". No part number or other identification. It came from a local dealer here in Lafayette, LA. The price was 44 $. Seemed reasonable to me for what it is and should do. I thought about trying to save the old rack but after some serious wire brushing, it was out of the question.
The bad thing was, to put in the new rack I had to just about take off the rear body section. Plus it took so long because I had to sand/grind/wirebrush, apply phosphoric acid, prime and paint all the other parts - "While you're there". Famous last words... |

Re: Building a new battery rack.
The number for this place is 337 261 8146. I'm sure you could get it shipped anywhere. It's not a heavy piece at all. Good luck.

Re: Building a new battery rack.
You can probably check with some of the forum sponsors and advertisers for the part. They may be able to help plus you'd "keep it in the family". Might be cheaper too.
