Tires??
Now that I have my new springs and shocks installed, well, my 22x11x10 Swamp fox's just seem inadequate.
Wouldn't mind some new rims, but in an effort to get a smoother ride and save some $$ might just be looking to get some new tires in the 25x??x10 range to get some more sidewall height plus overall height. Any suggestions that won't break the bank? I've looked at almost every site, and it seems that aren't a lof of choices in that sizing - I'd only be out a few more bucks to get new aluminum rims and tires in the 12" range and loose some sidewall height. Any suggestions that won't break the bank? Thoughts on this plan? |

Re: Tires??
27"??? Only running a 4" lift!! Might have an issue with the 25" as it is - the ones I'm finding say minimum 8" lift required. I'll have to go turn the wheels all the way side to side and see how much clearance I have.

Re: Tires??
glade you did not decide on new rims by the looks of your cart the rocks and mud might not have treated them too well
hockey pucks, I think that only works in Canada. you could probably get some pieces of 2" square steel cut to length but I would imagine going too long you would end up with problems |

Re: Tires??
Don't want it jacked up into the heavens - but a few more inches of clearance would be nice. Checked the tires last night - these things are so wide that at full left/right, I only have an inch or so of clearance, so if I went higher I would have to go narrower.
For the time being, unless I go with a bigger lift, I'm sticking with the 22" Swamp Fox's I guess. I'm very happy with them, but, well, you know, enough is never enough. |
