4ga or 2 ga
I have a 07pds that needs new cables. Go 2 or 4? If I do 2 do I have to do the 24" cables going into the box as well? Willl it restrict flow if I dont? Want the most performance out of it!!!

Re: 4ga or 2 ga
Get with Scottyb at Carts Unlimited and get his set of 2 gauge cables. They are awesome. I put them on my ohms meter and only saw .002ohms. That is by far next to impossible to create such a cable with no resistance. You wont be disappointed. Get all of them not just the battery cables so you don't create a bottle neck effect in the system. Folks are going to say 2gauge is over kill but if you plan to upgrade in the future you are already set cable wise!

Re: 4ga or 2 ga
What Colt said....
2 ga. would be a waste of time if you have a couple of 4 ga in the line. You will restrict the flow. Don't forget about the cables from the controller to motor and the one to the solenoid! I went 4 ga all the way around. (it ain't cheap) |
