Most likely it will cost you about $10. ( well spent money)

and the best part is once they charge you ...they own it and are now responsible if it leaks again
I'm not so sure about that!

Especially if the fault of the leak is the rim

if the tire place is coating ALL ALUMINUM rims and not the steel rims.

then they must be well aware of the sealing issues with these type of rims and have developed a procedure to prevent leaks....

all i'm saying is for the cost of buying chemicals and the labor involved this might be a more easier approach...

and he could WATCH the procedure and know for future issues the correct resolve.

and of course report all findings back to buggies gone wild central committee
( mainly US)

Update - Tire place (Belle Tire) could not get tire/wheel to stop leaking . . they used Tire Bead Sealant . . gave it back to me with tire off wheel so I can inspect both . . . no charge . . .

. . . the saga continues . . .

Update 2: Cleaned up wheel and spray painted bead area of rim with Rustoleum that I had laying around . . . let it dry . . . called Treads & Sleds, a local motorcycle/ATV/Snowmobile place (the only one that carries High Lifter's Pro Sealant in town) . . . took tire and wheel to them, explained what was happening . . . they accepted the challenge . . . called me back after an hour or so and said the leak stopped . . . they will keep wheel until tomorrow and recheck it (water tub immersion) for leaks . . . will update tomorrow on what they did exactly to remedy this . . .

Picked up tire/wheel this morning . . . all is well . . . no leaks . . . they only used the tire bead sealant and were successful . . . there was one spot on bead area of rim that had a slow leak, and thru patience, perseverance and $20 fee, the leak is gone . . . wheel back on cart and life is good . . .
