You should switch it though, and check the wiring from each taillight to each other. Those were screwed on mine as well.

Now that it's all wired correctly my parking brake turns them on SUPER bright, about 2 to 3 times as bright as when in "running light" mode.

Ordering the turn signals today

I've decided to go all out and get this thing street legal as a LSV. Might just sell my A6 and cruise the A .23 from here on out!!
Had to edit my last post. I placed foot in mouth! You must have read it prior to the edit. Mine is wired brake blk to harness red and brake wht to harness brn.
What is A6, A .23 & LSV?

The A .23 is my cart

LSV is Low Speed Vehicle. I see you live here also and have the same cart. The way we are wired all we need is a turn signal - http://www.covers4gear.com/EZGO_Turn...M_p/n-5673.htm -

Upgraded Windshield and seatbelts and we fit the criteria:

http://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/rules-regul...px?reg=571.500

I'm going for it! In Parkland our main road (Holmberg) is 35 mph, I'll be able to go anywhere!

Dela, I'm not sure you are correct! I looked at your DOT site, there are a few things there that I'm not sure you'll have to make it LSV.
#5 - refectors needed on sides and rear
#6 - 2 mirrors - one on outside of drivers side & the other is inside or pass side
#8 - windshield must have glazing (not sure is cart shields have this)
#9 - VIN # (not sure how this is obtained) might have the register it, maybe they use a number on the cart or assign one to it!

Anyways good luck with it! Hopefully the police won't bother you! Besides, anything you do we just make the cart that much more awesome!!!

Yea, I'm still a few dollars out - but willing to get there.

Have the interior mirror - just installed yesterday. Only need one on the outside, but that's pretty simple.

Reflectors are easy, peel and press

Windshield here - http://www.eastcoastcarts.com/catalo...arts/AS4EZ.htm

VIN - Hooknup just explained to me that once the cart passes DOT inspection they give assign a VIN to you:

New motor/controller/FNR are on the way (within 24 hours ) to get it to 21 but not over 25..

I'll keep you posted!

Hey Dela, was wondering if you brought a cheaper windshield and used a type of 3m tint would count as "glazed". I'm sure you aware being the FL that there is tint which would protect your house mindow during a hurricane!

Just a thought, heck the tint may bring the cost up anyways!

Pretty sure it has to be factory glazed to be AS5 - DOT approved. But good thought!

My windshield is on the way out anyway - it's squeaky and getting yellowed

and yes... I have been doing my homework! I've spent more time googling EZGO parts then a 12 year old googles "boobs"

D&D should be in today, going to start removing cont/motor/fnr now so I'm ready to put 'er in when UPS drops her off

It's gonna be a GREAT Friday!!

....and there will be pics, fo' sho

My 14 yr old could argue that point!

I remember when I was redoing mine, wish I got paid for the time spent researching and price finding, we would be talking big $!
