PDS first appeared in 2000. Recheck the year or the drive system type. (see chart attached) Once you ID the drive system we can help you T-shoot the system.

Scotty, Its a series Cart. The controller looks like 1 off of a "Marathon" No Run/Tow Switch or a 6 pinn connector. I was thinking it might be the ITS, doesnt that activate the solonoid when you press the accelorator.

Here is the schematic for a series cart with the solenoid activation circuit highlighted.

The first place I'd check is for B+ (Battery pack voltage) on the small white wire coming out of the back of the cart's charge receptacle.

BTW, there is a microswitch in the pedal box that is part of the solenoid activation circuit, but all the ITS itself does is tell the controller how many amps to pass to the motor.

I have seen TXTs with the Marathon controller installed before. At issue is the throttle input signal. The TXT ITS voltage signal is not compatible with the MArathon Controller.

Can you post pics of what you have in the cart?

Scotty,

Here are 4 pictures Should it have a Pot Box instead of ITS. I have a Marathon and it looks like a Marathon controller. It does not have a POT Box. The Solonoid is mounted behind controller (towards bac of cart)

JohnnieB,

How Much Voltage should be coming out of the White wire coming out to the Charger Receptable. It goes to the a Micro Switch on the F/R Switch.

Plug your meter into the small black and white wires at controller and tell what the voltage signal is when you move the peddle down. Then recheck it with the meter set to ohms.
This is the second cart I have seen in GA with the old control in the newer cart. Does this cart run?

Scotty,

No it does not run. One day (a month ago) he went to take it for a ride and it would not go.
