First Cart...Complete rebuild...need help

Ended up dropping off the motor at the machine shop hoping they can press it back together. It was not going together for me....so thought this was my best option....only hoping they can do it...LOL

Looks overwhelming. With so many parts to be stuck back together.
Don't mind me asking what's a machine shop charge for such a job.

don't know yet...when I stopped by the boss was at lunch so I just left it and he is supposed to call me back....soon I hope.
I would not expected it to be that much...all they have to do is press it back together...there is no machine work or parts involved.
I'll post the answer when I get the call back.

Well things are on hold...dropped it off at the machine shop last Friday and after many calls to them, I finally got a response....
They have not had time to look at it yet...have never done one before and will not have time to look at it until next week.
In the mean time I called a golf cart shop and they said they could do it in about a half hour to one hour labor at $75 hr. I am betting on the one hour charge...LOL
Hate to spend that much more money on it...just to press it back together.
Might go get it and tinker with it some more...if I can't get it, then take it to the golf cart shop. I just don't want to crack the case trying to get it back together.

Well I got my motor back today.
Funny thing is that I had not heard back from the machine shop, so I found some place else to press the case together. I went to the machine shop this afternoon to pick up the motor that they have had for a week and a half without one phone call to tell me if they even could fix it or what the price would be. To my surprise it was sitting there pressed back together and waiting on me. Even bigger surprise was that it only cost me $35. I am a happy happy camper...LO
Now to reassemble the rest of the motor and get it fired up.

Always astounds me on how some places can stay in business when they do it like that. Not rocket science to do follow through with a call to let the customer know it was done so THEY can get paid...seriously?

Anyway to test this before I put it all back together. I assume this is the pulsar? This cart was not running when I purchased it, so I have no idea what works on it.

35$ and no call. I think I would have threw a fit with them. But hope you get it going soon now.

Called two different cart places and they both quoted me $75.
