Default 2002 EZGO TXT gas powered FNR shaft....

Anyone know what it would take to replace the FNR shaft? Apparently on the golf cart that I have, the shaft is worn to the point there is too much play in the shift levers to get it to switch into reverse from forward. I have the repair manual but haven't been able to find anything about the FNR shaft. I'm hoping it won't entail pulling the entire rear differential and what not apart but I'm guessing that may be the case. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm not a mechanic but I can fix certain things.
