Default Help with Charger

I got the 1993 Marathon cart finished so I got my charger out that came with the cart. I plugged it in but I hear nothing but a small click and no humming noise. The meter doesn't move. I have no clue how to check this thing. THis is the cart I have for my daughter so I am really worried with Christmas net week.

Did you reset that circuit breaker? Other than that you will have to open it up and look for a problem.

No hum = No AC to transformer or transformer is bad.

Verify the wall outlet is working.
Open case, check 15A fuse in AC input circuit.

Here's the manual for a TC III.

Found the issue. Wire burned off from corrosion. Would it be cheaper to find this board or buy a new charger? Cheapest quickest way. I want my child to be able to ride Christmas.

Why not reconnect the wire that is broken off?

The board is probably good, you said you heard a small click when you plugged it into the cart.
That click is probably the relay the broken wire goes to.

Just replace the 0.250" push on connector, available at auto parts and hardware stores, and you are very likely good to go.

The way the wire looked where it connected to the relay lead me to think it had melted the relay. The only thing melted was the outer casing. I bought a couple of new ends and put a little bigger wire in place and she is charging like a champ. Thanks for reaching out and helping me.
