Dim headlights ????

I installed a new pair of headlights on my hunting buggy.I am using a seperate 12 volt battery to do this,but the lights a not nearly as bright as I expected.The battery is good and fully charged.Am I over looking something here ?

First questions, did you upgrade the wires that came with the lights? also check the voltage at each light and make sure the correct voltage is there

No,,i didnt upgrade the wires.I have not checked the voltage yet.

Was this a new install or replace ? Check voltages. Each light should have the full 12 volts

What kind of lights, LED or halogen? LED light seems different to me.

Don't know what kind of lights you have but I have an Ezgo txt deluxe light kit with halogens, I always thought they were dim but found out today why. The halogens are H3 and 37 watts. I also have LEDs minis from ridgid industries, there bright. I am going to upgrade the 37 to 55 watt bulbs. They will be a little brighter. The extra watts should not be too hot from what I have read.
