Interesting story about that. I had been taking occasional runs around the block during the off season. I figured I should be safe considering the infrequency that the police patrol our neighborhood. Well, one day I had just zip-tied the governor, and with radar gun in hand, I took off for a speed run. At the top of the street, here comes a police car. I'm busted! She was nice and let me off with a stern "you should know better" warning. Since then I've been keeping to the yard only, except for one ride to do doughnuts in the street during one of our way too frequent snow storms this winter. In a few weeks, I'll be taking the buggy up to our summer place in the Poconos, where it'll serve it's duty taking us to and from the boat dock.

At least you didn't get busted running the dragster down the street!!! A few beers in, and that would be the first thing to come out of the garage around here!!

I'm taking the fifth about running the golf cart or the Jr Dragster in the street... All I'll say is that we haven't gotten caught - yet :)

Speaking of getting busted, the security at the race track busted me for not having a track issued insurance sticker..... wonder if campgrounds require cart insurance??

This past Saturday, Maple Grove Raceway.... (uninsured)

I've never had to broach that topic. Our campground does not require insurance on carts. Everyone operates theirs on a "use at you own risk" basis. But I'm guessing it would only require one huge liability lawsuit to change all that........

Beautiful cart Matt!!

Trying to get ideas for the makeover on my G22. What tach did you use. I'm finding pretty limited single cylinder options out there other than the small hour meter ones. I see Equus makes a couple 3 3/8" tachs that are inductive that would work with singles, but not much else.

I have a couple "angle eyes" small high output 12V LED's (similar to this) I had planned on mounting under the hood of my Vette, but was thinking of putting them on the back of the cart for reverse lights. Did you just splice into the reverse buzzer leads to power them?

Thanks for any info you can share.
