Default Yamaha G8 question

I was on my grandparents' G8 the other day, and I noticed a black piece of plastic attached to the back of the gas pedal. It limits how far you can press it as far as I know, so if I pry it off, will it be able to go over 12 MPH?

Default Re: Yamaha G8 question

Not really. The adjustable rod from the pedal to the poteniometer only has so much throw. That car was desighned to go only 10 to 12 mph for golf course use.
