Alltrax DCX 400 - Club Car
I'm new here so if I'm posting this question in the wrong location, please let me know. I purchased the alltrax DCX 400pds for my 2007IQ club car. I've installed and set throttle setting to club car. Unfortunately, I am noticing very jerky power control and zero improvement on torque. This unit replaced a Curtis 250amp controller. Do you have recommendations on programming the controller for my club car? The motor is stock.

Would like to see screenshots of the alltrax controller pro (tabs 1&2) that people are using for their club cars.

Have you upgraded your cables too?

Yes, I upgraded the 6 gauge cables to 2 gauge. I have it working better now but still a little shaky when operating and now my battery light (under the steering) comes on when driving. When this happens, I notice power loss. I feel like the controller still isn't program properly yet.

Re: Alltrax DCX 400 - Club Car
When I had the jerky starts, I found out my MCOR was going bad - replaced since then but for me I can't get Full Power unless I move to a EZ-Go setting...Every thing I have read and heard is that these model of CC's don't play well with Alltrax with regard to throttle response. However, I do have SMOOTH take off and acceleration - I can almost pull the wheels off the ground(or so it feels) at around 90% on a 500amp Alltrax.

What MCOR did you replace it with, stock? Also, if I understand you correctly, you have your throttle set to EZ Go?

Yeap - check out the sticky from TahoeDawgZ71. Everything you wanted to know.
And no- I changed back to CC. The problem was that I could easily get 100 percent but take off on the low-end had issues. No slow go...like immediate 20-25% power. |

Stupid question but where can I find out the sticky from TahoeDawgZ71? Would you mind telling me your Alltrax program settings?
