G29 No Go, tow switch question
My parents have an 07 g29 that has had an intermittent problem with not going in f or r. you could flip it to tow for 30 seconds then back to run and it would work once again. yesterday it quit and the tow run switch did not get it going again. they are 350 miles from me and 170 miles to a dealer so either I am probably going to have to make the trip or they will have to find a way to get it to a dealer. last i had hands on the cart the tow switch seemed quirky so i half way suspect the switch but " feeling quirky" is far from being a decent diagnosis, lol . is the tow run switch just a 2 wire on off switch? could i have my dad to jump across the 2 wires to rule out that switch?
