![]() I have a brand new gas Ez Go Sport 2 + 2 that I bought from a local golf cart vendor. It had some accessories added to it, big wheels brushgaurds, etc. We've been using it and it had run great for about 4 weekends. Then my son found the governor and was messing with it a little. It was at about 1/4 of the way tightened (low end) and he pushed it to 1/2 way. Then he took it out for a spin in the park, and lost traction on some gravel and flipped it. Now there is white smoke and a weird smell coming from the back of the golf cart. I have not let it rest yet to see if it still smokes. I believe it was only flipped for a short amount of time.
Thanks for the help! |

![]() I would be guessing that's oil in the muffler burning off, I would keep an eye on the oil level and run it to burn it out.

![]() white is usually water, blue is oil and black is gas - rich
however oil in a muffler would be a different thing |

![]() Thanks.
Day 2 went out and took it for a spin today. No white smoke. But it still smells very odd, like burnt rubber yet I was running on dirt all day. It's got heavy duty, thick threaded tires. Not sure If that makes a difference. Thanks |
