Default Found an Alltrax 7245 locally

I found an Alltrax 7245 near me. Guy wants 300 and it works! Can I go wrong with this in my 36v TXT with D&D 21mph motor?

I will buy it if you won't! : )
That's less than half price of new. I paid around $650 new for mine
and it has been running my otherwise stock ez-go on 72 volts with
great performance.
Max amps I can pull on take off is about 235 amp for a split second and after that quickly tapers to 50-ish as speed aproaches 30mph.
So what I'm saying is that this controller will not break a sweat in a cart and should last a long time. How could you go wrong with it if it really works!?

Can a 48 or 72v controller be installed and used why the bank is still at the old 36v set up? Does it hurt or help anything to upgrade that part first in case I find a deal like that?

I have read I can go to 42v even with the OEM controller in our PSD EZGO.

Some deals do not give one time to think especially if the seller needs money. Maybe another on will pop up and with all of this good input you can jump on it.

Now that I've done the research on this forum, I hope you are right.

It is hard to make a fast decision with little info. I ran into this issue about four years ago. The kids asked for a motorhome so I did some reading on the web about older motorhomes and related issues because $10K was all we could come up with for a toy like that.

The first one we looked at was about $4K below what others were asking which scared me but I bought it and we were the first to respond to the new listing. He said after we bought it he had 20 call wanting to see it.

In that case he had lost his wife to cancer and after the hand shake he told me he was starting chemo in two weeks. He was a motivated seller.

Keep looking and keep several $100 bills in a safe place so you can strike while the iron is still hot next time.
