Default need service manual gas club car 1997 (Villager 8)

Need a service manual for the club car im working on. I have asked about the problem I am having with the engine's lack of power after it nwarms up but have not gotten any response that corrected the problem. I'm at a loss on how to fix the clu car so I guess the only avenue is to get the nservice manual for this model. I am willing to pay for it but I need it right away. Thanks for any help anyone can provide to me.

DirtyYoda, that would be great! The service manual was a big help but it is the supplement to the regular manual. At the risk of sound unappreciative I was wondering if by chance you had the "1995-1996 Maintenance and Service Manual". The supplement refers you to that mnual for alot of the specs. By the way I do appreciate the help. take care.

ive been thinkin about it too. if you want we could 1/2 it. I need the **** thing and hate to spend that kind of $ but guess I will have to. While I got ya here have any idea why the engine would be racing after I changed out the throttle post on carb and caskets the lack of power problem is gonebut now it races. also the throttlr doesnt seem to want to close down to idle adjust screw. I was thinking maybe the spring needs to be heavier? the one on there appears pretty new but doesnt seem strong enough to pull it back after accelorate

not sure, mine is doing the same thing I put a heavier return spring on the carb it helped alittle but is still kinda violent when you accelerate I am new to golf carts but I know alot about small engines so not sure what to do, I have been thinking about pulling my drive belt off and setting the engine that way but then again the engine runs good so I don't know if I need to work the cluches over and maybe put a 200 rpm spring in the drive clutch, still playing it by ear I read somewhere that the 200rpm spring on the drive clutch is not good for lifted carts but it is kinda hard to drive the way it is, I just need it to be smoother on takeoff

Boy.... it sure is difficult keeping up with you!

I have the same 97 supplemental manual, It's not alot different then a regular service manual.
here's a FE290-FE400 engine manual!

Thanks for the engine manual Lockman it gives the specs and carb adjustment methods the supplement does not. I have worked on all kinds of engines for the past 40 years but never have had this much trouble. Who'd a thought a golf cart could beat em! These things are finicky as heck. Appreciat all you guys!!!
