94 Club Car Alarm Sounds in Forward and Reverse
Been checking out a cart our company had in a building for a while and just took it out. First problem was getting the charger to kick on but got the charger to work. Let it charge over night and it worked fine for about an hour with the kids riding it then it stopped. The backup alarm started sounding and now it sounds whether it is in forward or reverse. The cart doesn't move in either forward or reverse.
Any help on how to test the switch? Is this a sign of it going out? I checked the wires going to it and they seemed fine. Thanks for any help. |

With no replies should I take it this is not a normal problem? Guess I'll pick up a new f/r switch and see if it fixes the problem.

The switch checked out fine on the continuity test in the service manual. Any ideas?

After reading up on it it has the vglide and resistors. I checked the vglide and it looks good. What controls the backup alarm on these? I can't find any part that doesn't check out ok.
