Default No Charge Club Car

Greetings All

My club car will not hold charge dispite replacing batteries. New batteries checked and metered no deficiencies found. Cart dies in 2 hrs and less then .5 miles of operation.

welcome to BGW! First of all, we need a bit more info. Like what kind(DS or Precedent), year, voltage(36-4, charger, pack voltage after a charge, mods to the cart, what batteries, ect.

if they are draining that fast than something is drawing them down...................what year? what type of add ons? lights horn things like that...the more info the better.............................

did you buy golf cart batteries or just plain boat style batts...also note new batteries take about 20 charging cycles to reach full potential

checking voltage is not good enough ..charge up all batts and then after
8 hours check the specific gravity of each cell...

would not be the first time new batts had bad cells...

just out of curosity post a few pictures of your battery terminal connections

Hey Guys

Sorry for the delay we have a 2002 AQ cart. Batteries were totally dead we did a 3 battery charge to get enough juice to charge it the traditional way. Just as a refresher the unit would loose its charge in 2hrs with new batteries, once charged we would like to run some tests. Do you have any suggestions on what tests would best help us? Our cart has no extras added that would draw batteries down any help would be deeply appreciated.
