Default 92 CC spark issues

The cart would run fine until it got hot, then it'd just die. After letting it sit for about 30-45 mins it'd start back up and run until it got hot again. When I parked it for the night and went out the next morning it wouldn't start up at all, just turn over. Does this sound like a bad condensor or coil?

i would say its more likely the rpm limitor/ignitor.......although the coils do go bad on the C.C. 92 to 96 the rpm limitor/ ignitor are a weak link and i see many more of them bad vs. the coil.............the coil on that year is pretty hardy.................only problem is the other parts are much more expensive.............................

on that year the ignitor and limitor are right smack against the engine nothing but heat heat and more heat.......no doupt it could be a coil but out of the 3 on a 92 to 96 the coil is the last thing i go after, they seem to hang in there where the other 2 don,t and they go bad in several different ways..........................thats why they built the ignitor into the coil in late 96 to eliminate some of that problem................................

Well, found out what the problem was. It's the cap on the plug wire. After spending $100 on a coil and igniter I figured it out.

if you didn,t open it try sending it back they may take it...........also sorry i never mentioned the plug wire cap as they very rarly go bad but in fact they can..........out of 1000 carts you might have 1 with that problem so i,m sorry i didn,t mention it........like i said if didn,t open it theres a chance they,ll take it back and if not i,ll stay in touch i don,t need one right now but if i do i,ll buy it from you..................................
