Default Did G1's come with different size engines?

Did different carts have different bore sizes? Mine with the aluminum rear body had a .75 oversize piston and jug. Was this rebuilt before or something Yami offered? If so this would be a 249cc not a 215cc

No they were all the same size. There were some differences in porting and compression with different years.

It is still a 215 but with a freshened piston & cylinder.

The 215 engine has reed valve intake where the 246 engines of the Enticer and Bravo are piston port.
The engine size is cast in the lower part of the cylinder above the clutch.

IIRC the '82 was the weird one they tried something different and it didn't work. The porting is different. The reeds help at low rpm. The yamahaulers had a different spring in the secondary, that is the only difference I know of in powertrain. A lot of G1 been bored out by now they have not made them in what 20yr or something.

the previous owner replaced ring and piston, said the cylinder was fine and didn't need to be bored out. The numbers stamped on the cylinder were for the .75 oversize piston. It must have been redone a couple of times.
