![]() I have an '02 TXT that is leaking gas from the top of the tank when driving around. It leaks at the top of the tank.
Is it that top seal? Before I buy anything, I wanted to get some input. Thanks, Louis |

![]() There's really nothing up there relevant to running (unless it causes enough of an air leak to interfere with the fuel pump, which it isn't or at least You haven't spoken of it) ... Order OEM gaskets, etc or hit the local hardware store (HARDWARE STORE, not Depot, Lowes, et al) and find something that works.
fitting-gasket-tank-gasket-fitting is ideal, but (from the bottom) fitting-tank-gasket-fitting will also suffice if sealed correctly Again - get to know a site Sponsor, they'll get You what You need. Otherwise, go to a real HARDWARE store, and there'll likely be someone there to olend a hand making it work for a few cents too (and those guys are local, so best to keep in your back pocket wink wink) |
