![]() I know there are several new and old people on here who live in this area, and im trying to find out what the legality / laws governing golf carts is. Im moving to the area in oct and will be bringing my cart with me. Here is az where im at now i can get my cart on the road with a motorcycle plate (cart had one when i got it) on roads less then 45 and i can cross 45 mph roads, after paying registration and insurance. How does this work in la it is a gas cart so any info would be great. Thanks

![]() I wouldn't bother calling the dmv, try the ruff and tuff dealership on airline hwy, in Baton Rouge. They are selling them advertised as road ready, to get the credit.
