![]() Dear Members,
I have replaced the controller, switch, solenoid, checked voltage and continuity on every connection. I yanked the motor to have it tested at an E motor company. Is there anything simple that I am overlooking. I was cruising down the street at half throttle (electric) and I hear a click towards the rear of the cart. I have not checked the foot pedal mechanism, but I am a do-it-yourself. Please help, write or call. James 727-519-5664 |

![]() Red,
I pulled the motor and the brushes were burned. I had a local motor shop replace and rebuild the motor at a cost of $ 140.00. It runs good now, but the company that sold me the full conversion kit, states that the motor is good for about a year prior to a nother rebuild in the configuration that I have it in now. I guess, I just have spare parts for everything now including a new motor. Thanks for asking though. JT |

![]() OMG???? Did you say 140???? Where did you send it???? Ya should have sent it to EMP for that price, brushes should last a pretty long time, and for just a little more $$ you could of had it beefed up!!!
