![]() what have you guys come up with the pulse pump solution on the gx390 and clones. will a tee at the breather be sufficent ? or the carb isolator block from affordable karts. i really am not ready to rip into the brand new engine and yank the governor yet, but if its the only working solution i guess. thanks for your time

![]() On my 16 hp clone I machined a hole in the carb isolator block and pressed in a piece of 1/4" diameter ss tubing. Works fine so far, haven't run it long yet, I'm still working on the cart.

![]() I've been running mine for a while,just make sure some place in the line is lower than the pump so oil won't get in the line. hookm

![]() new guy when u say you machined your isolator did you just drill into it with 1/4 inch bit or make a recess like affordable karts did this has crossed my mind too

![]() Drill and ream for light press fit. If you use the valve cover that works well but it is the oily/dirty side of things, at the carb, it is the clean side. This is why I used the carb side this time.
