![]() OK, I proceeded to remove the drivers side rear axle with little problem but for some reason cannot remove what remains of the bearing from the axle. While attempting to tap the bearing off it broke apart. The inner ring of the bearing remains and is frozen to the axle. I have tried penetrating fluid, using washer on top and hammer to try to hit it off and it doesn't budge. ANY ADVICE??
1998 e-z-go electric. Thanks! |

Have you removed the c- clip yet? It's just in front of the bearing... |

![]() that bearing was pressed on (they all are), I would never suggest cutting the bearing off (unless you are completely desperate), but rather take the new bearing and the axle half shaft to someone that has a press and ask them to press OFF the inner collar of the old bearing and press ON the new bearing.
