Re: InfiniteReality's '99 Lowered EZGO TXT Build
Yet another random 3D modeling project. I had the choice between black and chrome center caps (went with chrome), but always wondered if maybe I should have done black and I absolutely hate the generic SS logos. Looks like I'll get my chance to try it out, with my logo of course. The orange inlays will be done on the vinyl cutter.
Since the hubs stick out further on the front than the rear, I did both heights although I think it'll look funny and ultimately will have 4 of the longer ones. Designing my own, I was able to reduce the height a little bit and took less than an hour start to finish. Once I confirm physically fitment of them, I'll probably tinker with the styling a bit. Building this cart, I've earned enough amazon points to pay for a chunk of an Creality Ender 3v2 (may end up with a 5) so everything will get reprinted in something other than PLA very soon. |

Re: InfiniteReality's '99 Lowered EZGO TXT Build
Progress.
Body is fully mounted with all 316SS allenhead bolts, zero rivets used. Brought them to the wire wheel to dress them up before installing, as well as the seat mounts. Infinity Reference 6x8s wired and installed, with baffles and grills. Baffles are mainly to get a little more bass umph, but also to push them out slightly due to being so close to the batteries. 36v and 12v charging ports installed and wired. Rear wheels mounted for kicks. Bumper isn't mounted yet, just laid on for pics. |

More progress. Should have more time to finish the new dash install this evening with everything mounted and plugged up. Then onto the bagwell area, installing rockers, headlights and taillights, etc.

Let there be light. Super happy with my retrofit. Will actually be able to see down the road vs only 10ft in front of me...and not blind neighbors driving around since new lights have an actual cutoff.
Low beams. Still need to align them once cart is finished. |

Re: InfiniteReality's '99 Lowered EZGO TXT Build
All lights off. Definitely need to tint the tails ASAP when cart is finished.
My retrofitted lights don't have high beams and while my new low beams will far exceed the stock highs, I still want to use the output. As an alternative I have a skinny 24in light bar from my mower I sold that happens to fit perfectly on the square tubed axle. When I was soldering things this afternoon, went ahead and wired it in. When I lower the front shock mounts I weld the brackets for it. |

Re: InfiniteReality's '99 Lowered EZGO TXT Build
This is exactly why I made the effort to retrofit real headlights instead of the crappy headlights that come with the kit.... Actually have useable light for when we are cruising the hood at night.
This is only my low beams and even better in person. My high beams will include a 24in low profile light bar which I hope to have done this weekend. |
