workhorse model i.d.
I just bought my first workhorse yesterday!!!! I have several carts and always wanted a workhorse now i got her and in love already, and havent even got her off the trailer!!! It is a 97 with a 350!! lifted with 22's now my question is were there different models back then like the st ,800 or 1200? Do you go off the gvwr mine says 1200. THe 800s have the same wheelbase as a normal cart and the 295 engine, 1200s are around 11" longer with the 350 engine. STs have the truck looking cowl and factory lifts, they didn't start putting those cowls on regular workhorses till 2001 or 02, not exactly sure when it was and it was only on the MPT models to start with. of course you can always add the ST cowl to them.
