Re: Driven Clutch spring
I know this will sound funny, but take the spring out
and stretch it. We had a bunch of springs from Ski Doo that would sack out and we would stretch them between rounds to stay in the race. Beyond that it is time for a new spring, see our sponsors. |

Re: Driven Clutch spring
Thanks Dave I have watched the video and my spring does not have the point on the ends to put in the 1-3 holes. My spring is green and it is smooth at the ends. Any suggestions on where to get a spring like the one in the video? I have looked and all springs I have found are for new clutches.
If your clutch looks like the one in the picture I attached you need to take the Allen screw out of the top. Then use a 3 jaw gear puller to pull the top of the clutch off. I put a blot in the hole so the puller could push against that and it came right off. |
