Default Body swap. G2 & G1

For $100 I purchased a G2 for the differential. I'm wondering if the front body clip on the G2 can be used on the G1? I really like the G1 rear body lifting in one piece but my front body needs replacement. Will the front suspension interchange or am I on my own here?
Thanks,
Chris

The front-suspensions are completely different from G1 to G2,You could probably just swap the front-cowl with some minor work.Hope this helps.
