![]() When I picked the cart up, the batteries were toast. After replacing the batteries, the cart would only move in reverse. And it had full power.
I put the cart on stands and tested the solenoids. One for reverse, and one for Forward. I replaced the forward solenoid and the wheels spun in both directions. Took the cart off the stands, and it barely moves now. I know it has to be something simple. But I'm having trouble tracking it down. Pack charge is 38 - 39v. Seen some other posts with the same issue but no resolutions. I promise I will state the issue once found. Thanks for your time! |

![]() The most common cause is battery voltage drop. Check you battery voltage when the cart is accelerating on the jacks. Then do the same test when the cart is on the ground and you are trying to go.
Post both drops from 38v fully charged. |

![]() In the air the wheels spin up and voltage drops from 38v to 37.
On the ground, the voltage barely drops at all. 38 to 37.9 |

![]() I'm guessing the voltage isn't dropping at the battery pack, but can you measure at the output of the solenoids? It's possible a corroded connection (maybe even within a cable) is causing excessive drop, or within a solenoid contact.

![]() After replacing both the Forward and Reverse solenoids with no change, Tested the controller (kind of ) by bypassing with a hotwire from B- to M-. Pressed the pedal and BAM all the voltage at once to the wheels. $120 to Amazon for a new controller and now this cart Runs Great. Better than most of the carts I've messed with in the past. Problem Solved.
Thanks for your help. |
