Re: 2019 Columbia Journeyman - 2 Flashes
Thanks for this Post ! ,as it solved my Columbia Journeyman 2 flash issue. The charge Lockout pin 31 white wire needed to be connected to the negative post of the 48 volt battery string. I have learned a lot through this process and waiting for my Sevcon DVT controller cable and software to be delivered so I can can change some of the parameters and see what's going on inside the controller. One thing I made was a 35 pin male /female jumper harness so I could read voltages going into the controller without tapping into the existing wiring harness. I bought these connectors on Ebay and crimped my pins to make the connectors. Just wondering how many miles people are getting on there electric motors. I have 5400 miles on mine. I did remove the motor and opened it up to find it looked like new inside. These are AC 30 volt 5KW brushless motors. I also had FSIP rebuild the Sevcon Gen 4 controller thinking this was the issue, pretty sure it was ok.
