just got a nude g-29 what body can fit it

I need a body my cart 2011 g-29 is nude
[just a frame with starboard panels]
the cart has a welded on rack on the rear to the 2 square hoops/frame parts
so likely any body will need to be cut off/up on the 1/4 rear
so no need for a newish g-29 body or a perfect rear
if an other carts body can be made to fit
I would like to keep the rain off the motor and el connectors
cables ect
have or can make seats

any one swap bodys to an aftermarket one or have a busted rear part body with a decent part over the motor
hopefully near south fla ?

I think a Yamaha "Drive" body will fit a G29 . Or a yamaha adventurer body. None of the earlier bodys will fit. What are "starboard panels"? Do you have the "port panels" too?

G29 bodies and attatching are sooooo different from earlier models, I don't think I'd even try it. Don't know were your located, but if you in Washington state, come to the shop and I'll give you a used G29 front and rear body. Might ask a local Yamaha dealer if they have any take offs piled up.

old boater so I can do fiber glass and or custom mounts
and my bare cart has a welded on rear platform that will require some cutting
even on a g-29 body

I found a guy who has several 2007 bodys but is unsure which g-# they are
and 4 hours away from me
and yamaha lists 4 or 5 different models in 07 from g-16 up to the first g-29's
old stock or what I have no clue

current plan is to top this cart with a club-car roof that is a fairly close fit
it came on a ez-go so brand loyal I am not

Only 3 different bodies were available in '07. The G-29 "drive", the G-22, and the UMAX G-27 & 28 (front nose is similar to G-22, but rear is very different). Only one that would bolt on yours is G-29 "drive".

STILL LOOKING/HUNTING A BODY

has anyone tryed to fit a front or rear from any other cart on a g-29/jw8 ?

my ez-go came with a club car roof
so I pulled it when I sold the cart
and installed the CC roof on the bare yamaha
so now I have some shade anyway

I donot expect a perfect fit or eazy install
willing to cut the body or add glass to widen or make brackets or bits
really just want to keep the rain off the motor and controls
fortunately the real rainy season is not intil june here

I have a 2011 G29 body that I am willing to part with. I changed colors so I have not need for the white one. It is in good shape. No cracks. Has light cutouts(previous owner did this). Where are you located? We may can work something out. Feel free to PM me if you want to work out details.
