my 1982 ezgo wont start
i have a 1982 ezgo i rebuilt the motor new piston,cylinder,crank,rod,bearings,seals,carb,when i was done it started and ran fine. i did remove the oil pump and premixed the gas and oil 50/1. i was driving it and slowed down to make a u turn it backfired and stoped running. i have compression,spark,fuel ichecked the reed valves and they are good.the plug is not getting wet. i am thinking something happened with a crank seal or wher the cases seal. let me know what you think thanks

Check to see if one of the crank seals popped out when it backfired.

the seal by the clutch is good have to pull the flywheel

It's likely the culprit.
Check that, and the base gasket. |

Changing the timing will yield minimal results. Change to 100:1 after the first tank of fuel.
