Re: Newbie txt build!
the big block showed up thursday and is already installed and running. definitely gonna need gears though. top speed did not increase at all and i actually believe it decreased when speed was checked she is topping out at whopping 17 mph. although the torque of the cart has gone through a dramatic change and easily pulls a pickup truck. the back seat kit seemed harder to install than the new engine. im am very impressed with how well it starts and runs. still no lift kit or wheels and tires and i cant even get an e.t.a. of when we can expect them.

if you guys click this link i think you can see the one thing i did differently than the install said i took the time and wired the ignition switch into the dash where the factory key switch was i lost half of my tee holders but it turned out well and works like a champ. i also did not use the start stop wires and just dropped the base idle of the engine to the point the drive clutch is able to spin without trying to spin the driven clutch. this also allowed a deep rumbling loping idle and sounds great. |
