It's not exactly the same situation...
But, your brake cables still look pretty tight... are they looser then they were?

In this thread lockman said there were club car cable extension kits for electric carts maybe check on this if you are interested.

I saw that kit and it legthens the cable, but the issue that i am going to run into is an alignment issue. the brake cable mount on the bracket will not go down far enough to line up and pull the lever straight back.
