Mine is doing this too. If I just use it around the house it is fine. If I take it out on the country roads, it craps out. It took about 5 minutes to make it up our driveway (800'), just feathering the gas.

Well, is it fixed? If so, what worked?

I doubt if it's a carb issue with mine as I just replaced my whole carb with a brand new one. I was actually thinking it was acting like a bad coil that was heating up and sparking intermittently.

i am up and running fine now.

I cleaned out carb bowl. it was really dirty, and still had problem.
I replaced carb, seemed even worse than before.
I replaced fuel pump. Still the same.

Finally i did the simple thing. Started replacing fuel line. The line from crankcase to fuel pump looked fine, but i disconnected it and let it run, started spewing oil. I replaced that line and now I running good. I guess it had just enough of a crack or blockage to not push enough pulse to pump.

my only problem now is if i run full throttle, oil light comes one. I need to figure out what adjustments i need.

lesson learn. start with the cheap parts!

Thanks Schooner! I'll try replacing my fuel lines as well. Everything on my cart is original so that would make sense that it is ready for replacement.
