Ok I screwed up from doing something I shoulda asked about first. Hooked a car radiator fan to roof of cart. Saw this done on electric cart of friends cart and works great. Mines gas job,2000 -16.At any rate hooked mine up to small fan in rear of cart using its hot wire and grounded it to frame. switch in middle, cart, has ,stereo, flashing light, turn signals headlights. At any rate turned big fan n and cart ran for 30 sec and quit not to start again. Gent that works on cart came over and jumped something on Gen. starter and told me big fan burnt it up! Ok my bad so ill go new gen, starter my fault. Does this sound right to you experts and if I hooked fan to battery would I get same results? this fan is cooling fan from 12 volt car radiator , or do I just chalk it up to experience and take it down and plug holes in roof? Carts been flawless thru all the year and I messed it up, i,ll order starter .gen Monday .Thanks.Paul

Well took it to dealer and he had it fixed in 20 min.Was a fuse In a box right behind battery. I never knew there was fuse in there and would cause symptoms this had. Thanks to the gents who said guy was wrong and ill have to study up on fuse or fuses in that box, he did rewire larger fan to batter ,hot to switch and grounded it thru battery,
.Old girl runs good again. How many fuses are there in that box at rear of battery. My old owners manual didn't say anything about fuses under that cover unless my 83 year old eyes failed me,Thanks again ,Paul
