cheapest place to buy tires?
I have a 94 ezgo marathon with the standard rims. I'm just looking for regular road tires, nothing fancy. I found some online at Sams club for $40. Anyone know of better pricing or should I get these?

If you don't mind used go to your local cart shop. I would bet they have quite a few sets laying around..

Might be able to find some on Ebay. Remember to look for shipping included and there's no sales tax...(usually)

Re: cheapest place to buy tires?
Tires around here because ezgo and club car are within 20 miles, used tires/wheels go for 5-10 each in a lot of places. New are $40 each with wheels

Re: cheapest place to buy tires?
If you can find a local cart shop that does cart upgrades they will have a huge pile of OEM take offs. Where I bought my cart the dealer buys carts from golf courses and upgrades them for non golf use. Most all of the time he upgrades the tires and has a pile of like new tires and rims.

Re: cheapest place to buy tires?
In addition to all the excellent suggestions, try you local tires shops.
I got a set of new Carlisle Turf Master tires for $35 each installed. (They had to order them since they don't stock golf cart tires, but the two days later I brought in my rims with the old tires on them and walked out with new tires on my old rims.) Another place is lawnmower and garden tractor shops. Most of them are equipped to mount tires on small diameter rims and many of them are Carlisle dealers, as well as other brands of GC and ATV tires. I later found out that I could have gotten the same tires for about the same price at my local John Deere dealer. Think outside the box. |

Re: cheapest place to buy tires?
Our local Sams has the plain 18X8.5X8 on a rim for $41 or a 215/60X8 on a rim for $52
