Default Upgrading electric TXT-have questions

Hello golf cart geniuses!

I'm wanting to upgrade my electric txt to be able to accommodate 4 people the best i can.... I have attached several pictures below to help answer questions..pictures are always better...

Iv added pics of the controller, solenoid and overall appearance. engine is stock ...battery say F2 on the terminals and from what iv found means month and year (2012) in this case....

So far I have changed out all battery cables to 2 gauge-as seen in photos.
Do i need to change all the wires that run from the controller to 2 gauge also??

Want to be able to listen to the radio, use the LED lights I installed without the cart dimming when i try to accelerate,

just overall have a kick *** cart to party with and take the kiddos for a ride.. i have little hills and live on 4 acres of flat pasture land.

THanks guys! let me know if I left something out....

There are 13 cables in the cart's high amperage system. Replace them all with same 2g. And get yourself a SPM48500 control with 400 solenoid and a HD F&R switch. This will allow the motor to produce all the torque it can for the bigger tires and loads.
You could use a SPM48400 and 200a solenoid on flat ground but, the 500 will allow use of an aftermarket motor later on down the road. Hope this helps

Okay, per your request link to pkg #485 is about 3/4 the way down the page here http://www.cartsunlimited.net/series-controllers.html
And the HD F&R for this cart is #EZ575 here http://www.cartsunlimited.net/f---r--switches.html

You will get complete install instructions and hardware including the cable diagram but here is the diagram attached too.

SPM diagram here will match you new control.

Just an observation, that odd battery appears to be a standard 6 volt battery, which does not play well with the rest of the pack. It's discharge and charge rate will be very different from the rest of the pack and could limit the life of them. I would consider trying to replace it with a similar gc battery.

Agreed. Putting a starting battery in a deep cycle pack is a death sentence for the start battery and it's making the other 5 work harder.

We figured you did. Try to match the pack in amp hour capacity.
