Default Cams for the G2-G14

Some thing Sho mentioned a while back is that Tim Isky at small engine cams produces a high performance cam for these engines. Before my clone conversion that might have been something I would have added to my G14 had I known it existed. The title should have read cams for the G2-14 engine.Couldn't seem to edit the title.

For some reason he doesn't sell one for the earlier engines. The other interesting factor here ; the earlier engines have separate rod bearings where the later engines have the one piece rod/bearing unit generally considered less desirable for performance use.

My head is buzzing here with the thought of a cammed ,carbed, and ported g14 engine.Has any built up a G2-14 engine with a performance cam, carb, and porting?I have not seen any threads that way but maybe I missed it.

Hmm. Seems that just a regrind would also require longer pushrods?
